As long as the character is played well, this look will work fine.

early reports said that the scarecrow may not even make an appearance. I think they refer to Jonathan Crane as 'the Scarecrow', but he may not ever have a 'costume'. I think at one point, running from someone, he puts a brown cloth sack over his head hiding form something, but that would be the closest you get.
Again, it was an early report, and i dont know if it was ever verified, or if it was true, if it changed since then...
if they didn't have him in full attire that would piss me off
